Receptionists
Beth Selanis, Head Receptionist
Beth joined the team in November of 1988 when it was known as the Gardner Animal Hospital. The hospital consisted of one doctor, two technicians, and two receptionists. It has grown quite a bit into what now is known as the Gardner Animal Care Center.
She started out as a receptionist and worked her way up to head receptionist once they hired more individuals to work with them. She is responsible for ordering office supplies, overseeing accounts receivable, and sending reminders to owner's to remind them of their pets upcoming visit. She supervises all receptionists and medical records personnel.
In 1992, with the help of another receptionist and technician, the three of them established the Gardner Animal Care Center stray adoption program. This program has found homes for hundreds of kittens and adult cats and is still going strong today.
Beth married the love of her life in 1996 and has two children, Delaney and Kristopher. The other "children" include a boxer named Thunder, a Rottweiller named Maulie, an Irish Pug named Seamus O'Flaherty, multiple cats, a bunny and a goldfish pond. Her hobbies include antiquing, gardening, trying to play the piano, and spending time with her family. She one day hopes to see Ireland and Germany and retire early so she can enjoy it while she is young.
